Mood:  accident prone
Topic: the eyes
In 1997 I got my left eye injured. It took 2 1/2 years before I finally can see through that eye.
The doctors did an intra-ocular lens implant which caused disturbances and had to remove it. They then continued treatment with prednisone, timolol and dexametasone for about 6 months.

Finally they called me back and said that lasic surgery would work very well and not cause anymore damage to the eye. I agreed and went for surgery. I now suffer from secondary glaucoma.
